sending tax documents to IDOC

<p>My understanding is that IDOC scans the single copy that you send them, and then sends it out electronically to the schools they serve. But be careful - if your student has applied to 6 schools and only 3 of them receive info from IDOC, it means that the other 3 will want you to send them hard copies (or in some cases, faxes) of the returns.</p>

<p>We received a letter from the one school my D applied to that utilizes the IDOC. The first part said that they still needed our Federal tax return as well as W-2's to finalize their decision on FA. Later in the letter it stated that we would be receiving an email from College Board with instructions for completing the IDOC process. I am assuming that CB will automatically send the email to applicants to schools that require IDOC verification. I guess we wait for now....</p>
