Well, I was sending one university my transcript and thought I should just do all of them at the same time (November) although I haven't sent in my application yet for the other universities..

Would I have to send it again or would they have kept it? I thought it would be like SAT scores (where u can send it to them beforehand) And would it be Ok if I sent teacher recommendations before I turn in my application in as well??

And one more question:

I have gotten 1 C in AP chemistry before (junior year)

and this year my grades are:

AP calculus BC - C or possibly D.. but hopefully not.. O_O
AP Government- possibly B but probably A
AP environmental science - A
AP Studio Art II- A
AP Biology - low A right now
AP English Lit - Low A

so 3 of my A's have a little chance of turning into B's but probably not.... Would it be bad if I got one C in my AP calculus class? (hopefully all of my other grades will be A's)

Yeah...I want to know, too...if you can send stuff like recs and transcripts and scores in...before the student's part is sent. And even before a file is started with the common app. As soon as they get any part for you, do they start a file?

All of the schools that my son and daughter worked with started a file on an applicant as soon as they received any part of it, even if it was the transcript or a rec letter first. But you should call each school's admissions offcie and ask to be sure.

I heard colleges start a file as soon as they receive something, be it transcripts or SAT scores or whatnot. I also hear if you don't apply, the SAT scores get destroyed in May or something. :o As someone who's in 13th grade, that sucks because I sent some SAT II scores in January 2005.
