I have 2 ACT test scores. One of them is clearly better in ALL categories. The other one is worse and even without writing.

Am I required to send both scores?

Am I even required to have an official score report for both scores?
I can understand reporting it on the commonapp...

Subject tests reports can be tweaked according the college requirements (I checked 2X with reps from 2 different colleges)…but all SAT Is/ACTs have to be reported

Am I even required to have an official score report for both scores?
even if a financial hardship?

well…if you can’t even afford to send 2 scores…how can you afford to apply to Cornell???

The obvious answer would be a fee waiver.
Anyways thats not the case.

So I do need an official score report for both? Listing it on the common app is not enough?

I am just wondering how they can require everyone to send all of their act scores.

well ya, you gotta send a report from ACT Org that has both scores on it…the numbers you list on your common app aren’t official - the only one that’s official is the one FROM the ACT people

Every test score requires a separate score report.

Why would they even want an official one for the crappy test if I tell them about it, and send them the official one for the good test.

it’ll be best to call 607 255 5241 (general admissions office)

but that separte score report is weird. i sent the SAT, and for SAT every score is on one score report (unless you sent them multiple times)

I already called and the person had no clue what was going on.

Perhaps I will send it just in case

each individual ACT test has its own score report. beauty about the ACT: you can choose which test score to send in :)

so therefore, cornell only has to see your best score and itll be liek the lower test never happened

My high school reports ALL test scores on the transcript…

did you have to report the scores to your hs? i didnt check off that box when i took any of my tests

heh. good point haha.

oh well, none of my scores are that bad.
