Sending test scores- This is dire

Boston University deadline is Jan 1st and I need to get my Oct SAT scores sent out as soon as possible. If I were to send the scores out today, do I need to rush report ( if so, does the school accept rush scores) or will I be okay just paying 9.50 for regular shipping… assuming the school will accept anything post markted before Jan 1st?
Thanks, this is dire.

For a situation like this, it would be best to call BU Admissions. I just left BU yesterday but I think most of their operations are open today. Tell us how it goes

^
My mom would rage if I picked up the phone and called long distance.

well in that case, your best bet would definitely be to rush the scores. play it safe?

A long distance call to Boston is probably less than $9.50.

Of course, you could always e-mail the admissions office. That’s free.

In any event, they won’t knock you out of the competition if they haven’t received your scores by January 1.

I would like to rush score but it would be difficult to get my mom to pay 27 plus 9.50 for every other university I’m sending my test scores to. I was wondering if any other cc user knew what would happen if I don’t do rush score and sent the scores out today.

ok coolbreeze. merry christmas! i just called the undergrad admissions for you. they will accept your scores after jan. 1st! you just hafta have your app and stuff in. recommendations…supplement etc. just get it within a timely manner you know? so just send it regularly

Oh wow, thanks a lot Alectricity… this will less stressful. I’ll plan to get the scores sent out today.

no problem have a safe break!

Also, I called BU today because I’m sending them my Dec acts, and they said that they’ll take them after the Jan 1st deadline, along with recs, and transcripts. You just need to pay, and submit your app/supplements by 1/1.

Good luck!
