Sending test scores well before applying

Hi everyone,

I am just wondering: would it be ok for me to send my SAT and SAT subject test scores to colleges a year before I’m actually applying? As I am taking my SAT and individual subject tests (taking 4) on different dates, should I send them as the scores become available or wait until right before I’m applying (say September, October for ED). To that effect, how long do colleges store these test scores? (I have already sent my SAT scores so I’m just wondering whether I should resend them next year).

I’m applying to UPenn ED and as they require a complete testing history, all scores need to be sent regardless of how I did. I’m also relatively sure of which schools I am applying to next year so uncertainty of choice isn’t really an issue if that’s any help.

This depends on each school. Contact the admissions department at UPenn and find out.
