Hi, I am just a little confused about which scores to send. I took the ACT twice, once with writing and one without. The one without was administered by my state, so it wasn't a national test. Do I need to send it, seeing as Yale wants the writing supplement? I asked them in an email, but they replied saying the information is on the website.

I’m not sure what a “non-national” ACT test is, exactly. In any case, I think the website is clear that, if you send in ACT results, you must send in all of them. Ditto SAT results; if you send in any, you are to send them all. You have the option of sending both ACT and SAT.

If it’s any reassurance, the Adcoms will view your scores in the most favorable light possible (I.e., they sort of “super score” for you). It is very possible that a qualified applicant has a few non-representative hours on one day.

Ok, thanks. The website just confused me because it talked about sending act with writing scores.
