Sending testing anyways...Worth it?

I'm retaking the SAT in Jan. I don't think Stanford takes it, but should I send it anyways?

Thanks

What have you got to lose? I think its free for four colleges, so why not? Go for it!

If you're applying to other colleges that accept the January SAT scores, then send your free ones to them. Stanford won't take January SAT scores, as they want them in by January 1st. January SAT scores, if rushed, won't even get there until Mid-February. If you're not applying to schools that accept the January SAT scores, then I guess you can send it to Stanford.

I CALLED the StanforD U Office of Undergrad Admissions.

They said feel free to send it. They won't GUARANTEE that they will receive the scores, but if they do in time for review, they will be considered.

so no way when they look at my mid year they will glance at new scores?

I doubt they will look at your January scores. Deadlines are deadlines, after all.

cheer up. if hey haven't gotten to your file or are still looking through it, chances are that they will consider them.
