I think your stats are going to keep you out.

Personally, bongoboy, I think this year Ivy's are looking more at the whole person, and when you compare my SAT score to my school's average (~1100) I think its decent. I mean, I DID get deferred from PENN with an 1800 when people were many people were rejected with 2200+

Let me put it this way:

anyone who applies has a chance, even if it's minimal.

anyone who doesn't apply has a 0% chance, even if he's the most outstanding student in the world.

I agree with you but you just have to remember: SAT scores won't get you in (2200+'s do get rejected) but they will keep you out. robotFOOD makes a better point than the both of us. Best of luck.

i sent mine in this morning! after reviewing my essays like 10000000 times, it was just time to hit "submit"

jhum111, how did you know penn deferred 1800 & rejected 2200, that means only 1000 are accepted. Where did you get the source?

no hes sayin he got defered with an 1800 SAT, and some people got rejected with 2200 SAT

nevermind--you said it before i did.
