Sending the December scores?

If I wait until December 29 to see my score before sending, will colleges that have a deadline of December 31 still accept it? I mean, even if I say that I want them sent before I receive my scores, the scores won't be sent until at least the 29th anyway, right?

thanks

I have the same question. anyone?

Usually on colleges websites they state the last test date they accept. usually it is december, so you are fine.

but when you look at collegeboard, it says that the last day to receive the scores is December 31. So should I wait or send it blind?

You should send it. Most colleges only care about your highest score, it seems.

Well my question is, if you took the writing section, they can't send your score until your essay score comes out right? And that's usually at least a week after the Multiple Choice score, so I don't see how blind sending it would make it any faster.

Exactly. Good point.
So consensus is, wait until December 29 to see my scores and send them if I am satisfied?

I don't know about "consensus", but I'm definitely waiting till the scores come out before I pay over a hundred bucks to send them.

haha
okay
as long as I'm not alone

If say I scored a 29 on the Septermber test, and I sent those scores in already...
Would it hurt my chances of getting in a college if I sent my DEC Act scores without seeing the scores first and having them be lower than my 29? Thanks.

that's what I'm afraid of

So for Common App colleges (like NYU and Cornell w/ deadline 01/01) we can still send December ACT scores right?! But do it after we see what we get?

Yeah, I'm applying to those same schools. So that's what I'm hoping. I'm going to check it December 29 and then send if I like
