Sending the same letter of recommendation twice?

Hi everyone!
I'm an international student who is temporarily living in the US and I am applying to several schools. Two of them are UPenn and NYU and Ive already submitted my application through commonapp ages ago. My only problem is that I've asked this teacher for a recommendation letter and she wrote it, but it is a teacher in my home country. Before coming here, she gave me a physical copy in a closed envelope. I mailed it to uPenn but I was thinking her of mailing the letter to the admissions office as well. The reason why I'm doing this is because I'm afraid the colleges will find it doubtful that I am sending them a letter from America, which is written by a teacher in a country overseas?

Do you think I should tell her to mail the letter again on her own, does this do any harm to my application?

Thank you! :)

If they get duplicate letters, they’ll just assume you either made an error or were being super-cautious, and then discard the extra letter. Nothing bad will happen.
