Hey Guys,

Question here. First off, I will be attending UCLA next year and I have been around the forums for awhile, never posting, usually reading to find out answers to my questions. But thanks to all of you because you guys made the whole college application experience more bearable.

I have taken some college courses Yale and AU and also at Stanford.

I was wondering about the whole transferring deal. At Yale I received a B (3.0 GPA) for 3 units, for AU an A with 2 units. As for Stanford, one class was an A while the others were pass/fail (only option). Those pass/fail classes at Stanford were things in design and media, while I am trying to pursue a pre-med/biological sciences major at UCLA.

I have not requested those transcripts to be sent yet.

If it goes through, then I assume the Yale grade would affect my overall UCLA grade? Meaning I would start off with a 3.0, (if my other transcripts are not accepted for credit and it doesn’t bring it up a bit.)

Can I send in the transcripts (UCLA wants it by July 15th) and decide later if I want the credit or not? The thing is I am not sure if I can make any changes say beyond the time period I start my freshman year.

Any thoughts, things to consider, etc?

Thanks guys!
