I was hoping someone could clarify this for me. How many transcripts am I supposed to send to grad schools?

Am I supposed to send an official copy of my CURRENT transcript and later send in my final transcript as well after I have graduated? Or do I only need to send in my final transcript after graduation?

You may not necessarily have to submit your final transcript later on (maybe you do, I’m not aware), but you certainly must send your current one. A transcript is a requirement for any grad school application, and you will not be accepted unless they receive one from you prior to the application deadline.

Virtually all applications will require a current transcript to be sent.

Generally, you’ll only have to send a final transcript after graduation to the program you have decided to attend.

Most schools require only 1 official transcript to be sent to them, but I’ve seen some schools that specifically request 2 transcripts. It’s best to read the application instructions carefully, both on the general admissions website and the program’s website.
