Sending Two Sets of Transcripts to UCLA?

I sent my transcript to them the other day. On myUCLA it says “A preliminary transcript has been received from your college . A final transcript is still required.”
Remember that it takes about a week for your school to scrape together your transcript before they mail it out, so you should get on this soon. You’ll send your IGETC certification the same time you send your final transcript with spring grades. I’m not exactly sure how to do that (I’m sure it’s very simple). There was a box on the form I filled out that said something like “Wait to send after IGETC certification is completed.” I’m just going to ask a counselor, I doubt they have much to do after the semester ends, and this stuff isn’t due till July 15.

So anybody who is thinking of transferring to UCLA should send in their transcripts through fall 2008 by June 1 even if they’re not sure if they’re going to go there? I probably won’t submit my SIR (to either UCLA or Berkeley) until the deadline, but I know it takes about a week for transcripts to be received. Should I send it in anyway?

^ Couldn’t hurt. For me, it only costs $1.
I also noticed that they want transcripts through fall '08 the same day the SIRs are due. It’s not a big deal for me, since I had already made up my mind, but for those still deciding, I can see how it would be an issue.
If I had to guess though, I don’t think it’s a big deal. I seriously doubt they’d rescind your admission if you don’t get your transcripts in on time.
