Sending your app Online vs. Mail/How do Adcoms read essays?

Do you guys recommend sending my app through the mail?
The only reason why I am thinking of doing this is because unlike the Common App, we're supposed to copy and paste our essay into a text box rather than attaching a document. Therefore, indents are lost (it just looks like one big paragraph) and it obviously can't be double-spaced so it really won't be too easy on the eyes--does anyone know how the essays are actually viewed (physically, that is) by adcoms? Does anyone know how to make paragraphs in the text box with indents and stuff?

Our high school counselor told my son was that the office at G-town is a little old-fashioned, so I think either way would be fine. You should be able to do the indents once you have pasted the essay---just takes a little bit of time to manually indent. Don't think you can adjust the double-spacing though. We probably will end up mailing ours in. I'm sure they will still print everything out cause the recs, etc. are all on paper too.

georgetown is waay old-fashioned. anything to do with technology here is usually way behind. take the student access+ panel for example...
