I am taking the ACT in April and just noticed that some colleges say that they require you send your test scores directly from the testing agency. Does this mean I have to fill in the college’s number on the test so that it automatically sends the test score to them or can I wait to see the score online and decide whether or not to send it in?
You can wait until you see your scores, but you will then have to pay to have the scores sent. I think the cost is around $12. Personally, I would advise you to wait in case you decide you want to re-take the test. Good luck.
That’s what I thought but they weren’t very clear about that. Thank you for clearing it up!
You can certainly wait to send them. The only penalty is the $12 fee to send them later.
Also your high school may include them on your high school transcript. Some colleges/scholarships may count them as official.
@HereToHelpYou thanks!
