I'm taking the ACT in Dec for the first time, and after doing some prep, I LOVE it in comparison to the SAT!

Problem? I need to send my scores to 10+ schools. They'll let me pay for 2 more, but I don't really understand their instructions for sending my scores to more than 6 schools.

after you take act and you know the scores, you can decide if you want to send them. go on act.org then go to send scores. I believe it cost $8.50 for each test score you send to each college. I hope that answered your question.

How would you do this if you must send them before knowing your scores? I am a senior and my schools need the scores asap. Will it be possible to add them to the list before receiving scores?

Well, between 2:59 PM and 5:00 PM there was a lapse. Chill out.

And yeah. That doesn't really answer my question...

I need to make sure they are sent BEFORE I receive my scores. Currently it lets me do 4 for free, and two extra for $8.50 each, but I need more than that.

Before I took the October one, I signed up for my 4 free ones, and then of course, it lets you pay for 2 more....

Now, after my scores were online, if I want too, I can send it to whoever I want.

I'm guessing you are going to take the ACT in December...we all understand what you are asking how to do, you want to have the reports sent out to 10 schools ASAP, before you receive your scores. Trust me, we all get it. The reason people didn't respond is because the website does not have a clear answer to that.

You would be much better off if you found a support number and called the ACT directly...
they will probably be able to help you, but you may need to be prepared to give your credit card info over the phone

but fyi, the people on here did their best. if you really needed the scores sent so soon, you would have been better off planning ahead and taking an earlier test date.

Basically I assumed someone else ran into this problem and maybe they had already made that phone call and would have saved me some trouble with an answer.
