<p>It really won’t matter that much, but it helps when you have an upward trend and you end your senior year with solid marks. It depends also on how picky the adcoms are at the college or university that you’re applying to.</p>
<p>I think it is difficult to see an upward trend when, at some schools (i.e. many of the preps) you don’t take AP’s until you are a senior. Grades tend to go down a bit, actually, because of the increased difficulty. Most of these schools do not weight grades.</p>
<p>There is no difference between one or two A-s vs. B+s, and is hardly indicative of an upward trend.</p>
