I have taken AP world History in 10th grade and I received a score of a 3 on that exam. I didn’t prepare properly and didn’t really take the class to seriously etc. This year, my junior year I am taking Band, Honors Physics, Honors Statistics, Yearbook, AP English Language and AP U.S History. Next year i am not required to take a math or a science, by the end of this year I will have all of my required math and science credits. I was think of taking AP Art History and AP Photography in replacement of math and science as well as participating in an online math course at home after school my senior year (during the school year) as I am unable to dual enroll and don’t want to forget the math I have learned. I want to be a film editor and science has nothing to do with my major and their is basic math involved in film editing. Everyone is telling me that I should take a math, although I get A’s and mostly B’s math is not my best subject and AP Photo as well as AP Art history directly relate to my major. Any advice on what I should do would be helpful.
What other classes would you be taking?
Do you have a foreign language?
Yes I have 3 years of foreign language finished i took Spanish 1, 2 and 3. If I were to take AP Art History and AP Photography I’d also be taking Band 3, AP Government/Economics, Digital Publishing for the second year (I was chosen to be photo editor for that class) and AP English Literature as well.
Digital Publishing is yearbook
I’d recommend that you at least take Precalculus (in school) since otherwise you’d only have 2 core classes. What science classes have you taken?
I plan on taking Algebra my first year in college at UM or UF. As for science classes I’ve taken Biology Honors, Chemistry Honors and Physics Honors.
