I will be a senior, IB Diploma candidate, taking the following courses:
IB History of the Americas HL
IB Biology HL
IB LA 12 HL
IB Biochemistry HL (2nd semester)
IB Spanish 5 SL
Calculus 3 (1st semester, they cut Calc 2 out of our school course offerings).
IB Theory of Knowledge (1st semester)

As the schedule above stands, I will have 6 classes first semester and 5 classes second semester (and 2 and 3 off periods, respectively).

Course selections are this week and I honestly thought they weren't for another week or two. I'm debating between AP Computer Science and AP Stats. I have some computer programming background (Visual Basic) but this will be a Java course. AP Stats is pretty straightforward - it's a statistics class. Which one was easier for you? More interesting? More advantageous for colleges?

I realize all of this is subjective; I just want your input. I don't know if I should take AP CS, Stats, or Econ, or even just leave my schedule as it is above, since I've heard that most of these classes are pretty challenging.
