Senior courseload questions? Calc 3, AP Stats/CS?

I will be a senior, IB Diploma candidate, taking the following courses:
IB History of the Americas HL
IB Biology HL
IB LA 12 HL
IB Biochemistry HL (2nd semester)
IB Spanish 5 SL
Calculus 3 (1st semester, they cut Calc 2 out of our school course offerings).
IB Theory of Knowledge (1st semester)

As the schedule above stands, I will have 6 classes first semester and 5 classes second semester (and 2 and 3 off periods, respectively).

Course selections are this week and I honestly thought they weren't for another week or two. I'm debating between AP Computer Science and AP Stats. I have some computer programming background (Visual Basic) but this will be a Java course. AP Stats is pretty straightforward - it's a statistics class. Which one was easier for you? More interesting? More advantageous for colleges?

I realize all of this is subjective; I just want your input. I don't know if I should take AP CS, Stats, or Econ, or even just leave my schedule as it is above, since I've heard that most of these classes are pretty challenging.

bump  10char

If you’re on the fence between Stats and Comp Sci, which has the better reputation/teachers at your school? Two of my kids took Stats and found it to be kind of boring and heavy on homework, but they’re both glad they have the knowledge from it.

One teacher (who will teach CompSci) has a very good rep and the other is fine (Stats), but it’s the first year that our school will have AP Computer Science. I’m not sure what to expect in terms of homework/assignments in that class, and how the AP test will be, so Id like to hear from people who have taken it. Stats is pretty straightforward - problem sets, homework, tests, etc.
