I’m so stressed right now… I signed up to double science for my senior year (AP Bio and AP Physics) but didn’t get it, and now I have AP Human Geography, AP Macroeconomics, Anatomy and physiology (not ap), AP Physics, AP Calculus BC, and AP Literature. I’m afraid that my courseload isn’t rigorous enough for top college admissions because I’m not taking the hardest classes (all aps) especially because my school offers a lot of ap courses. I have the option of changing AP Human geography to AP statistics, but I can’t change anatomy to anything else because the other ap courses are either full or don’t have a class during that period. What do you think I should do? I’m planning on going into STEM, and the ap courses I’ve already taken are AP Computer science, ap computer science principles, apush, ap euro, ap spanish, ap lang, and ap chem. How important is senior year courseload in college admissions, and do you think I should switch human geo to stats?
Your schedule is fine and plenty rigorous!
They just need to know that you are not slacking off, and your courseload shows that you definitely arent. You will be fine.
