This thread is ridiculous. Valedictorian with good test scores means you’ll almost certainly get in somewhere.

Not true Kudryavka. There are thousands with similar stats.
essay and ecs distinguish.

if you’re the valedictorian at a top 1% in the world high school with 14 ap/ib courses and decent ec’s like you have, you could get in pretty much anywhere haha

Your AP scores hint at grade inflation. I think Georgetown is possible, but strong list otherwise. I promise you that you will get into at least 3 of those schools.

hahahahahahahaha. you guys make me laugh.

@atypical23 I agree that my AP scores leave something to be desired but I wasn’t enrolled in the ap courses for those classes. I took classes like IB Biology, IB Psych, IB Calc, etc. The curriculum for these IB courses is not matched to the AP curriculum and I did little/no self-studying for these tests and only took them with hopes of securing credits.

updates from this fall: ap scholar with distinction. acda honor choir. 2011-2012 all state chorus. ronald reagan centennial commemorative coin toss excellence in leadership award. thoughts?

Bartow High School? Suncoast? Well anyways, I really don’t think you have a problem at most (all?) of these schools. I think all are on target or maybe lower. Good luck and I think you will get good financial aid at most of these schools. Chance me back?
Update: also applying to Georgia Tech (EA)

Excellent chance at all.

Too easy. You should apply to HYPSM

yeah, but I’m a florida girl who needs sunshine and merit money.

georgetown, rice and vanderbilt: decent (or good) chances

don’t know much about other colleges

rice, vanderbilt and wash u have merit scholarships
duke also has merit scholarship

but they are very difficult to get

good luck to you
