Are they calculated into final GPA by colleges for regular decision?
I want to apply to Cornell ED, but my gpa would theoretically be .03 higher if I applied RD instead of ED.

I was originally told that yes, they do count.
But, I have just been told by anothergalaxy that “Your initial transcript shows you GPA until junior year, but the mid-year report that your counselor must send in later shows your senior year grades for first semester.”

So they do matter, regardless whether they boost your GPA on your first transcript or not. Colleges will take them into consideration.

So do you think I should apply ED or RD?
