I decided not to apply to any schools early because they don't factor in the first semester gpa of your senior year. I have a pretty low gpa and I am counting on my Senior year first semester to help me out. Do all schools (when applying regular decision) calculate the first semseter of the senior year grades into the gpa?
Thanks

I don't know about others, but the UC's do not incorporate your first semester senior grade into the UC gpa. However, as I've heard, they do look at your senior class rigor and if you remain consistent with your grades. Also, an upward trend would be great too.

Unless you're on a semester schedule, your GPA is unchanged. If you apply regular decision your high school GPA will reflect your first semester grades for any classes you have completed, but not ones that are currently in progress. Colleges do look at mid-year grade reports, however.
