princekarim- C’s or better is probably safe.

Why don’t you call admissions and ask and report back here? You don’t have to give your name; just see if they will answer the general question. Any info they give you would be interesting.

I am also pretty interested in this as well.

okay yah definitely i will call tomorrow and post their reply here. i hope i’ll be safe…i had a 4.0 first semester…and now i have 3 c’s lol.
one of the c’s i can prob get to an A if i fought with it since i did all my work…she’s just not giving me credit because i have 28 truants this semester (its my first period) lol.
but yah…i hope ill be fine cuz srsly im prob gonna end up with 3 c’s, one B and one A haha
oh well
ill update you guys tom!

I’d venture out and say that even if one of those C’s turned into a D, USC would probably not revoke. If that B or A turned to a D, however…

You’re fine, D’s are probation.

So I got into USC with a D on the transcript (foreign language department, don’t ask )
but if I were to get a D in second semester of senior year, willl USC rescind my admission or will it put me on probation?

Does anyone here think I will have a problem if I went from a 4.0 to a B in AP Bio and possibly a B in AP English Literature, with an A in AP Stats, AP Econ and TA?

@ mraoshi

you’re screwed. Getting a B is basically the end of the world.

@ squadus.

haha. I see. panics lol, but seriously…

chill. seriously. i think the person who got the 3 C’s will be the first to tell you that NO you will probably not get rescinded.

does anyone know if you could get your scholarship rescinded if your grades slip from all a’s to all b’s?

hey guys! so i totally had this same freakout earlier when i found out i had a C in calc. i’m a trustee scholar so i was really worried they would take away my scholarship. i called USC twice actually. the first time was in like march and the person forwarded me to my regional admission rep and i ended up leaving a thrown together message i was totally not prepared for. ya no one ever called me back for that. second time i called i just talked to a regular admission rep and she said that unless its a drastic change it wouldn’t affect it. she didnt really clarify but when i asked if dropping from all a’s to one c and maybe a few b’s was considered “drastic” she said no.

also, if you read through the scholarship acceptance and contract stuff it actually says no where that the scholarship is pending on successful completion of senior year. it only says that on admissions. so my guess is that usc can rescind admissions but not scholarships.

@ mraoshi

There’s nothing to worry about lol. It’s just a B or 2

However, those are 2 B’s in AP classes, and since no one ever drops down to 2 B’s in AP classes, your admission would, as we all know, obviously get revoked.
