<p>Correct me if I'm wrong, but senior grades are really unimportant when applying to a UC. Instead of trying so hard, people should study the more important thing: SATs. The UC colleges don't ask for or see your senior grades until after they accept you. And even then, they only matter slightly because if the grades are too low, they can revoke your admission. But they really don't like to do this so all you have to do is maintain a 3.4 gpa, which is really easy for most people. You can probably have only a 3.0 gpa and it wouldn't affect anything at that point.</p>

<p>yes, senior grades do not matter that much as long as, like you say, you keep a 3.5 or so in senior year.</p>
<p>BUT they are looking for every reason to revoke acceptances so be careful.</p>
