senior grades --> GPA?

i was wondering if the grades on your mid-year report get calculated into your overall GPA for evaluation or the senior grades are just looked at and used as an indicator??

going to bump this

thanks alamemom. i think i saw that before on the usc site haha. do you think if i got 4 B’s and i’m taking 5 AP classes this year with 2 music classes will jeopardize my admission?

I think anyone who takes 5 AP classes and survives is amazing! Beyond that, I don’t do “chancing” other than to say everyone who applies has a chance!

Good luck!!!

thanks, you’ve been a lot of help to this forum

I didn’t have a competitive gpa when I applied to USC. I am currently taking 5 APs as well and with 2 Bs first semester, and doing even better this semester. They didn’t ask me for my midyear grade but I submitted them anyways to my advantage.

Is this a bad sign that they rejected me right the way that no senior grade can save me? :S

They didn’t ask for my senior grades either. (but I still submitted them) I have a weighted 4.1 unweighted 3.9.

I got accepted last week so them not asking you for grades definitely doesn’t always mean bad, if ever :)
