Senior Grades

I got an email today saying that my 1st semester grades are due this friday, however, they won't be available until next Wednesday(midterms end on Tuesday). Is it alright to send them five days late????

Okay I have the exact same situation except I think it’s Monday for me. Was gonna post my own thread but this one covers it all so let’s just see if anyone (hopefully Dan?) knows. I’m freaking out because the email seemed kind of angry :frowning: They said “a day or two” is ok but Monday’s three days late so I don’t know what to do. FREAKING OUT EVEN MORE THAN BEFORE

Send them as soon as you can, but we’re not going to deny you because your school doesn’t have grades for you yet.

If we did that, we would be jerks.

We’re not jerks.

My guidance counselor was told we have to have them in by next week or I will be switched from EDII to RD. I have to have all of my teachers grade me early because grades aren’t released yet.

Ah - for EDII it’s different. We still wouldn’t deny you (so, technically my above post is still correct), but we won’t make a decision without Mid-Year grades, so your school has to send us something for us to offer a decision now.

I convinced all of my teachers to let me take my midterms early, so I can have Mid-Year grades faxed over by Monday at noon. Is that soon enough?

So we are automatically moved to RD if we don’t submit by this friday? D:

We aren’t the only school that requires Mid-Year grades before we’ll make a decision. It’s usually possible to work something out where your teachers send unofficial grades of your progress so far.

If you are worried that there is no way your school can send us a progress report of your work thus far by Friday, you should call our office and talk to someone about what you can do or go to your guidance counselor and ask if anything can be send in lieu of official marks.
