I’ve always been a straight A student, however in the first quarter of my senior year i have a B- in ap lit. I’m applying to a couple extremely competitive schools and was wondering if this low grade will drastically lower my chances of acceptance. Thank you in advance!
No, one low grade will not ruin your chances, especially if you have always gotten straight A’s. Some schools don’t even require first quarter grades, only midyear reports. Just try to pick up your grade as much as possible, and don’t stress out over it.
Yeah I’m in a similar boat except that currently I have 3 B+ in my classes right now. Do you think that is enough to make selective colleges reconsider me?
