I feel like every time I explain my situation and ask questions, I never get a clear answer so I’m rewording it again.
So my situation is that I’ve been admitted into a highly impacted major at a clearly high impacted university. I’ve had almost ALL A’s for soph/jr year (only 1 B for one soph semester). I have 6 classes senior year. Is it okay for me to get B’s in like half of my classes? And when I say “is it okay,” I actually mean “will I not get rescinded,” because I might sound dumb but I literally don’t want to risk anything right now. I’m really not even slacking, I don’t have senioritis. School is just hard.
In the past, UCLA’s provisional admission stated you need to maintain an Unweighted GPA of 3.0 and no more than 2 C’s, no D’s or F’s. You should have a copy of your provisional admission contract in your acceptance portal.
And I’m asking this because I know the contract just says 3.0 and no more than 2 C’s but it also says maintain academic performance and I just don’t think I’m doing that right now. Would they really rescind for having a lot of B’s? Like I actually need to know.
They will not rescind unless you get a significantly lower GPA. You are fine with a few B’s.
