Senior grades

Hey, I was wondering how bad my senior grades have to be before my acceptance gets rescinded. I am taking 6 classes right now of which I have only 2 As and like 4 Bs. They are all ib classes though. So how bad do grades have to be to make them rescind my acceptance?

NO! Don't worry about it.

I can't tell... is this a serious question?

To get your acceptance rescinded, you need to not graduate. Literally.

There is not a single school in the country that would rescind you for what you did...an admirable senior year performance.

I figured out how far I could slide and I slid exactly that far...70 flat in Calculus AP and the very last kid in the top ten percent. If only I'd have put as much effort into school as I put in to not trying, I'd have been valedictorian...

Plan II has even said just to chill, don't worry about it.

So you're fine.

what if my grades slide to a 3.0, b/c I right now have all Bs? Although I'm taking 6 IBs, I also have an early release and a late arrival. That's kinda why I'm freaking out. I really hope that my laziness won't cause me to get rescinded. That would be THE most embarrassing thing possible. Thank god this isn't Cornell, otherwise I'd be rescinded for sure probably!

Please tell me you are kidding.

Having your lowest grade as a B is nothing at all. It takes MULTIPLE C's to even possibly get rescinded. I think you can even get away with a D. But 4 B's and 2 A's? You have GOT to be kidding.

Cornell wouldn't rescind you either. I have a friend going there next fall and he called to ask about his straight B's. They said it wasn't a problem at all. So chill.

And I laughed at loneranger's comment.

alright thanks you guys. That really takes a load off. I guess I'll just wing my spanish final now hehe.

California_love8 continues to be the biggest troll on collegeconfidential without even trying.

^okay......

i'm going to fail AP calculus with flying colors, but I dont need it to graduate. should i worry?

All UT cares about is that you graduate from high school. If your school will let you graduate with 50s, you still get in to UT.

I don't know about honors programs or scholarships, but your admission to the university is safe if you graduate.

My school doesn't release final grades to UT because all they ask for is proof of graduation.

x2.

It's hard to believe that someone can have such good grades yet be so stupid in the real world.

believe it. unfortunately, way too many of these people end up at UT, silly 10% rule...

god damn you guys are harsh. I'm not used to getting this bad of grades, thus I got a little bit worried. Calm down.

And to the person above me, I'm OOS so do your research b4 you flame.
