Senior Grades

arduouspallor, unless they specifically request your midyear grades, they will not see your first semester grades - so don't have your counselor send a letter and tell them! Your admission decision will most likely be made on the information you have already submitted. If you do get a midyear request, that would be the time to include a counselor letter.

Once you are admitted, you will not be rescinded for having a 3.0 in your 7th and 8th semesters.

Ok this is what is was for us based on the acceptance letters and the terms of agreement:

UCB, UCLA, UCSD: You cannot receive under a 3.0 Unweighted in senior year, nor a D or F which means C's are allowed but as long as you can make up for them with some A's.

The rest of the UC's: No D's or F's... thats about it.

You must maintain an unweighted senior year average of 3.0 in the senior year, with no D or F as OoPurestOo points out.

Thanks so much for the advice! This is a load off my back, haha.

Not all UC campuses follow a 3.0 in the senior year rule. When you are admitted you will need to review your Conditions of Admissions for that campus and make sure you are satisfying those conditions. If you are not satisfying those conditions you will need to report the deficiency to the campus.

Any D/F grades or course changes should be reported immediately to the campus. Any other concerns should be addressed by the Conditions of Admissions you will receive when admitted.
