senior grades.....

got in for fall

but im likely to get a C in one of my AP classes and MAYBE a C+ in another, am i doomed?

note:the rest of my grades are like half As half Bs

Don’t worry about it.

a C for the entire semester? or just 1 grading period.

If you’re in the top10% then they have to accept you no matter what.

If your not, you’re probably still okay.
I asked a UT representative that came to my school about this once
She said that they only need your final transcript to make sure you graduated.
They’re not going to take away their acceptance.

I’ve kind of been slacking with my grades too (actually, a lot…) since I figured it didn’t matter. But now I realize that it does kind of matter for me… for SCHOLARSHIPS =-|
Since I’m still applying… and they look at your final transcrip… and they seem like they could take it away if you start slacking…

So if you’re not wanting scholarships, you should be fine.

^well i did apply or a scholarship and asked for a recent transcript, which has everything up to my first semester as a senior (no Cs there)

but this last semester im likely to get a C (but thankfully they wont see those)

so i should be fine for UT (or any state school for that matter0?

gpowsang, I I thought you were going to TAMU.

^STILL havent heard from TAU, gotta keep my options open anyways

The general rule at UT is that as long as you graduate you are fine. I don’t know how this affects scholarships however.

My high school follows the letter of UT’s request and sends proof that the entering students graduated from the school registrar–they don’t see our 2nd semester senior grades at all and if we applied before the end of the first semester they didn’t see any senior grades at all.
