Senior Grades

I'm a senior, and my GPA at the end of junior year was a 3.96; I only got one B. But this year, I think I'll get only one A, and the rest Bs--and maybe even one C. It's not that I'm trying less hard, but that my classes are harder (even though I had six APs last year and five this year).

How will my (relatively) poor senior grades affect my chances of admission to elite colleges? And is it possible that my admission could be revoked because of my senior grades?

Better apply early, that's all I have to say.

I meant to say 1st semester and not full year.

Also, applying early only makes a difference to one school, so I don't see what you mean.

I might not even get the C 1st semester; so essentially I'm asking if straight Bs is a big deal to most colleges given that I did much better in 11th. Short replies do not help me.

many thanks to anyone who will offer their opinion or experience.

Find some schools with rolling admissions, where your able to apply now. Like me I'm applying to Purdue and Indiana now. And I still have ED. Which means I have at least 3 schools right now, where college won't see my senior year grades, as far as getting in goes.

It's important to keep your grades up senior year or some schools may revoke their acceptances. Many schools do ask for final report cards & quite a few also ask for 1st semester reports. Some even want 1st quarter grades. Your GC may have more info, but tread carefully.
