Any other seniors just getting senior-itis second semester? I feel like i am losing control over all my grades due to an uncontrollable inner laziness lol ....

Any tips to stay strong and finish the year with high marks?

Math is especially killing me, given I have not done any of the HW from the first day of the new semester

And… I had two progress reports out of four classes. A D- and a D. I’m pretty sure the D- was actually an F but my teacher just decided to mark it down as a D-…

But meh. They’ll be up to at least a B (in the D- class) and a C (in the D class) within two weeks (when third quarter ends). I just haven’t turned in an essay from the first week of the semester in the D- class and I have a 36 quiz average in the D class, because we only had one quiz and I got really confused. If we have another quiz… that average should go up dramatically.

AUGirl- It looks like you were already admitted to University of South Carolina based on your profile. USC is listed as a more selective college, meaning that they admit around 50% of applicants. I assume that you are aware that getting a single D in a class senior year can warrant your admission being rescinded right? At the very least they will severely limit you FA package.

I know kids that got rescinded admission from less selective schools than USC for getting a D on an overall good transcript.

I don’t want to come off as a helicopter parent or anything (I’m only 19), but I would hate to see you get your admission taken away because of senioritis. :)

^I’m not worried. As long as I get a C for the quarter, then the year end will be about a B. I’m not on the semester system. I’m on the year system.

So even if I get a D… it’ll be a B-/C+ year end grade. But I won’t get a D. I have no D’s currently. That was progress reports a couple of weeks ago.

Plus… I don’t want to lose senior privileges which you lose with a D or F. XD
