Does anyone know about any programs in the upcoming summer in any fields of engineering or business? I don't mind if the application process is long and tedious, but I really want to make this last HS summer fun and meaningful. I no longer want to "pad my resume" or anything like that to look good for colleges, but merely explore my interests.

THANKS IN ADVANCE FOR ANY HELP!!!

Let me know if you find anything good. I’m looking for the same kind of program. Ideally something business related.

Someone suggested Endevvr (www.endevvr.com) in another thread. It looks like the best one I found so far.

same @hvoss11! I saw someone post about Endevvr too, but unfortunately the tuition is a little steep (roughly 6k) for 5 weeks…

Yeah. I managed to save some $ since last summer for this kind of thing, and going through all the options this one seems like it’s actually worth it. I had some friends who did “college” business programs before, and it was not much different than regular school. You go to class and you do homework.
I emailed Endevvr to find out more about what the program is like, and from what the guy wrote, it seems really different in a good way. I’ll let you know if I find others too.

Sounds good! I also heard about FTE Economics for Leaders and the Upenn programs (LBW and LEAD) but I think those deadlines have passed.

FYI, LBW’s deadline is February 31st - you still have plenty of time!

^^There is no Feb 31st.

FTE Economics for Leaders deadline is in March, I think. Maybe March 5th?

I was talking about the program at Penn

Hi Kevin! It’s awesome that you goal is to explore rather than simply boosting resume. In this case I strongly recommend the Endevvr Summer Incubator. I went there in the summer 2014. Before starting the program, I had a ton of curiosity and little knowledge about entrepreneurship or what I wanted to work on. I got to try out new things, to challenge myself, to fail and iterate, with the support from fellow classmates, counselors and mentors (experienced entrepreneurs who came in to help us).
