Senior Math Class

hey guys i'm going to be a senior this year (finally!!) and i'm undecided about what math class i should take. I signed up to take Ap stat, but there is another class called intro to college math that i was thinking about taking. i'm not sure exactly what intro to college math is all about so if anyone knows/have taken class i would appreciate if you could tell me about the class. basically i'm asking if i should stay with Ap stat or take intro to college math. thanks.

What level of math did you take last year? If your school offers Calculus, you have not taken it, and you are qualified I would suggest Calculus over Statistics for a variety of reasons. Because every school titles courses differently, and honestly I have no idea what an ‘Intro to College Math’ would be. If you could, could you please include your math track, and what other options are available?

Thanks.

I am no way qualified for calculus!!
Freshman:Geometry (Honors)
Sophomore: Algebra II
Junior: Trigonometry& Advance modeling Functions (equivalent to non honors pre calc)

Ap stat, intro to college math, and Ap calculus are the only options i have.
Thanks for your help!!

That schedule sounds like it may prepare you for some level of calculus, though not necessarily the one offered at your school. It really depends on what “college math” is, since most intro college math courses are calculus.

Since you took precalc, I would go into Calc. Or intro to college math. This at least seems more riguruous than AP Stat… it is a joke of a class.
