Senior needs advice. Failed Course.

<p>hi College Confidential Network,</p>

<p>i need help. i recently received my 1st semester senior year grades, and i failed my AP Biology Course. </p>

<p>I do not know what to do and what are my chances? if any? I had a 3.78. I finished my Junior Year with a 4.2 GPA. This semester i received: Economics: A, AP Government: B, AP English: B, Calculus AB: C, AP Biology: F, and Spanish 4AP: C. January, marked the 2nd anniversary of my father's unexpected passing, and the emotional turmoil never really gets easy to endure. But, every year does help. I tried my best, but obviously my best was not good enough. Second Semester has started and I'm on a good track. However, what to do with my 1st semester, i have no clue. My dream school was George Washington University, but i doubt i will get in now. Should I continue taking AP Biology 2nd semester? I have talked with the teacher, and I am doing well...i am current with my work. What should I do for GWU? I already submitted everything. However, I will soon send to them my midyear report were surely they will drop me. Am i right? What should I do? What can I do? </p>

<p>If you failed AP Bio, you must have failed more than just the final exam. You need to meet with your teacher and with your guidance counselor and sort this out. They will help you figure out what you need to do about the college applications that you have sent out so far.</p>
