Hi everyone, thanks for dropping by (: I'm a senior and applying to colleges soon so I would really, really appreciate it if you all could chance me. I don't want to spend $80 for a rejection letter D':

I'm an Asian girl boo hoo :| Canadian citizen, permanent resident of the US (in-state student for California). I'm not the stereotypical Asian, but I can't really portray that through my application o: So.. yeah haha, here are my stats:

→ GPA (10-11th): 3.464 unweighted, 3.5 weighted D':
→ Some Classes: Honors English, AP English, Honors Trig, 3 years Spanish, 3 years Chinese, 2 years Photography
I go to a nationally ranked public high school in California, which sucks because everyone takes like 5 APs and over 80% of the senior class has over 3.0 :X

→ SAT Score: 1810
Critical Reading 610
Math 570
Writing 630
My first score, I am retaking it this October, so hopefully it will go up at least 150 points :x

→ SAT IIs: NONE :|
I'm taking Chinese in November and will probably get a mid - high 700 :/
I don't know what to take for my second one though. I suck at Math but everyone says it's expected that you'll take the Math SAT. I'm in AB Calculus AP so it'll look bad if I just take Math I and not Math II :s
Would it be okay if I just took English.. or something else? Or should I just take Math and get like a 500-600 -.-?

→ CLUBS:
+ Shines Tutoring Club
Barely, went on and off and only went to a couple tutoring things D': I plan on rejoining again this fall, and I'll be more committed to it.

→ EXTRAS:
+ Paid internship at a law firm, I'm the file clerk (10.5 hours a week)
+ Volunteer at a local hospital ER (3 hours every other week :/)
+ Volunteer with the Peninsula Stroke Association (sort of, on and off, I've sort of stopped though)
+ On senior class council (I don't really go to meetings.. but I still get the Facebook message D: )
+ I suck and have no ECs

→ SCHOOLS:
+ UC Merced, UC Riverside, UC Irvine, UC Santa Cruz, UC Santa Barbara, UC Davis
+ San Jose State University, San Francisco State University, San Diego State University (I'm pretty positive I have a good chance at getting into SJSU & SFSU)
+ Bentley University (Goal)
+ Boston University (Goal)
+ Claremont McKenna
+ Chapman
+ Santa Clara University
+ Some other schools I haven't thought of yet lol

→ MAJOR:
I plan on majoring in Accounting (maybe double/minor in Finance)

Is there anything I can do to increase my chances? (Besides increase my SAT score)

Please share any opinions (: I know I'm pretty average.. but yeah. I just want some thoughts. Thanks so much ;D
