well...my senior portrait session with Lifetouch is next week and I'm confused about a few things...do we HAVE to take one picture in a tux??

who else is doing senior portraits?? our school is kinda "forcing" us to do them...they scheduled my session without me asking...but I guess I'll go ahead and do it...

My school schedules each senior an hour-long appointment with the school's main photography studio, Bruckner's. I got my appointment notice in the mail back in June for an appointment back on July 6th, but I missed it because my parents were out of town and I had no-one to take me. I'll eventually get mine taken. My brother never had his taken because he refused to, and my parents are still mad at him about that. I don't want to have mine taken, either.

I guess you may need to have a photo to insert into the yearbook but hey, I went to boarding school and we did not do the whole "portrait" marketing scheme. I have heard of this at the home high school's of some folks but it seems to be a scheme to me.

Yeah, my school makes everyone get their photo taken for the yearbook. Seniors have to wear their blazers. Every senior gets their own page in the yearbook to put whatever they want.

Hmm, my school just wants a nice classy headshot for the yearbook. Nothing formal though, but every place is different. They 'recommend' a certain photographer that will do just the yearbook picture for free, but I can't remember who. The school does normal 'school pictures' for the yearbook and rest of the school where the photographer comes in.

I'm getting my senior pictures taken in September in the traditional studio package deal sense. I should probably get an appointment set up, shouldn't I?

The place I'll supposedly have mine taken has the upper part of a tuxedo that they let guys put on when they have their portrait taken. It makes more sense to do it that way. If people want other scenary type photos made, they can bring their own clothes and change into them in between shoots.

Just had them. They actually turned out quite nice, considering I woke up groggy and grouchy and eyes bloodshot and unshaven and 10 minutes before my actual photo session.

We have to take ours to get it in the yearbook..but its not a big deal. I took mine in May but people have been taking em all summer. Where I am, you can bring other clothes to take casual shots, but most people just use the suit or drape they provide. Mine went well, but then again, I was getting ready for prob an hour beforehand.

We just sumit a photo to the school, so some get them done professionally, and some have a picture taken of them anywhere, mostly outside...........I think I'd like to be somewhere outside, and do my picture myself (My mom has a decent camera)

they're expensive! i got my hair done ($45! i have too much hair!) like most girl at my school do. they provide the clothes and boas, you get 2 costume changes (like cap n gown) with the sitting fee (but can do more) and can also take buddy pics with up to 3 friends in it. they took a million but only send you 16 to 20 to choose from. they're a big deal at my school

we have to get senior portraits taken because they're like this big photo on our yearbook page. they schedule 2 days in late august at the studio of our school's photographer that does the pics for everything (underclassmen yrbook pics, semiformal, prom, etc) where we just go in like 1/2 hr slots

it's an all-girls school so we just wear a nice (usually black) top that's not too low cut lol for the picture that'll be in the yearbook and then we change into a nice sundress or casual top for more pics
