Senior Privilege Second Semester?

This semester, I took 9 classes: 7 IB classes (HL Math, HL History, HL Chemistry, HL Philosophy, SL English, SL French, and TOK), 1 AP class (AP Statistics online), and 1 dual-enrollment class (Introductory Physics).

Next semester, I won't have TOK or the dual-enrollment class anymore. Because of scheduling conflicts, and the fact that I've already taken all of the one-semester long AP courses available, I've been automatically given senior privilege.

I could go into AP Physics 1 thanks to my experience in the dual enrollment course, but I'm actually considering taking a little break and just sticking with the 6 IB classes, the AP Stats class online, and a senior privilege course. Would that be acceptable? Who do I call to make sure?

@DMAzai - A little context might be in order - your posting history shows you to be a HS senior who was accepted SCEA. I don’t think Harvard would care which classes you take during the second semester senior year, as long as you maintain decent grades and graduate. They also won’t care about your IB results - the only situation they would come into play is if you want to use the IB to qualify for the Advanced Standing, in which case you will need sevens in three HL subjects (incredibly difficult to achieve if you’re taking Bio HL and History HL). It’s much easier to qualify with APs.

@DMAzai‌ , if you are changing your courses for those indicated in your application, you should email the AO and get their approval. I can’t imagine there would be a problem since your schedule still sounds rigorous.

TBH, second semester doesn’t matter as long as the grades are good. You can take basically whatever you want. You’ve already submitted your apps after all! Colleges understand that you want to enjoy the rest of your year. Reap the rewards for all of your hard work. they get it.
