Senior Project HELP

Okay, I need some creative suggestions. At our high school, every senior must research a topic of his/her choice. The project consists of a 10 page paper, 20 volunteer hours (relating to the topic), and a presentation.

My proposal is due in 2 weeks and I have no idea what I want to research. What topics would you guys suggest? Remember, there must be a place where I can volunteer for 20 hours. Also, this is a research paper and not a report. I can't do anything relating to careers. Thanks.

I would love doing stuff on civil war warfare and the new technological advances and strategies. Also I think doing a research on the change of racial decisions in the Supreme Court would be interesting although it will be over a hundred pages. I suggest change of racial decisions in the 50s and 60s of course 1950s and 1960s since that was a dynamical period. Start with Oklahoma v. someone(banned plessy decision in grad school) But that's just me.
oh totally misread your post. sorry dude. Then is civil war reenactment count as volunteer work? if possible i would do it.

imiracle did you get a 5 on the ap us history test?

uh a lot of kids at our school set up fundraisers and charities...but idk how similiar our senior projects are (in reference to guidelines and such) but we also have to write a 10 page paper and make a product

You need to pick something that YOU enjoy other wise your essay is going to be hell.

I have to do something similar. I was going to do something in education or nuerology. And if I had to volunteer in the subject, we have plenty of tutoring programs.

A lot of people prefer history (easier). I suppose you could volunteer at a museum or be the history teacher's aid.
