Hey, I am heading into senior year and this is my schedule for the fall:

Semester 1

AP Psych*
AP Calc*
AP English* (It's one course but I end up taking both AP lit and language exams in May)
Gr 12 Pysics (AP not offered)
AP Chem*

Semester 2

AP Psych*
AP English*
AP Calc*
AP Chem*
Gr 12 French*
and out of school gym (required)

*** Courses are year round for AP at my school

Is this schedule too difficult/ambitious? Generally speaking, how should I rank these courses for difficulty and which ones should I focus more on? I took pre-APs last year along with AP bio (hoping for a 5) and was able to do really well, but I had a couple fluff courses such as Canadian history (I'm in Canada) and gr 12 psych. Also, what are good resources and materials (e.g bozeman for bio) that I can use to start prepping for these courses, mainly concerned about AP math, calc, and English. Thanks.

Eithout knowing how you tend to handle academics, it’s diffi ult to tell whether or not your schedule is too difficult. The difficulty of the classes really depends on how the teachers are and how much work they give. Materialwise, I’d say physics tends to be very difficult at the start (just from what my classmates and I experienced) unless this is actually your second year.

Khan Academy should be a good resource for almost any topic. His explanation style doesn’t really suit me, but it works for other people. For physics there is Dan Fullerton, who has videos on youtube and these were very helpful.

Physics was a pain in the butt for me. I took AP Physics C as a junior with AB cal concurrently.
I don’t think your other courses should be too bad. My friends handled AP English well. AP Cal wasn’t hard for me. You just have to grasp all of the new concepts. And I’ll be taking AP Chem this year too. My friends told me it wasn’t terribly bad, just a lot of formulas to memorize and more math involved than regular chem.
