Pre-Calc
French 3 or AP Stats

I was wondering if I should take AP stats while doing Pre-calc at the same time?

I would have to take out French 3 but I really do not want to take another year of French

Do you need to take pre-calc before taking AP stats and would taking both classes at the same time help or be a hindrance?

I want to get better at math and want to double up on Pre-Calc and AP stats but I'm not sure would it be too stressful or had since I'm not a mathematically inclined person?

Also if I am good at regular economics and understand the concepts well should I take AP Microeconomics?

Pre-Cal and and AP Stats can be taken at the same time, so that’s not an issue. My biggest problem with you taking AP Stats is that you would only have two years of language. Check the schools you’re applying to make sure that you don’t need three years.

@TheKongo - I want to apply to University Of Michigan, Michigan State and they only require 2 years of language

I have been struggling in French just to get a “B” so in Senior year I can take more AP’s without having to deal with French. I also took 2 years of sign language classes over the summer would that also count as foreign language?

Thank you I will take Pre-Calc and AP Stats at same time!

Would those be overload for someone who loves to read and write but is weak in maths? I want to improve my math skills~

I think you should be able to handle it. Glad you want to improve your math skills!

Pre-Calc and AP Stats don’t overlap in any way so you should be good if you want to take them concurrently. AP Stats was relatively easy (at least for me and my class it was) as it only involved basic algebra. However, if you are debating between taking Stats and French 3, I would advise you take French because some colleges prefer and even require 3 (some even 4) years of foreign language, and you don’t want to limit your options by only having 2 years should you come across a school during your college search that requires 3 years of foreign language.
