Senior Schedule

We're making our schedules and there are a lot of options this year.
So far, I've decided I'm definitely going to take:

AP Biology
AP Calculus A/B
AP Spanish

I can't decide which AP English I want to take. And I'm also deciding between AP Economics and AP French. I feel like it would look better to a college that I take, and do well in two AP foreign language courses. But will it look bad that I don't take AP Economics, because I hear that it's extremely tough? I also have a few electives, and I'm going to self-study AP Psychology.
I'm not so sure I want to take both French and Economics, because I'm involved in clubs, community service, and I have a job.

Any advice? Thanks!

It’s really difficult to ask some of these questions to us.

As for material:
Most people find Lang easier and more enjoyable. I thought Lang was okay and pretty much hate Lit. Do a little research on the difference though and ask current seniors how they feel about each.

AP Economics is not difficult at all. It’s only a one semester course (at most schools). If your Econ is a one semester course, I’d lose a semester of elective and take Econ.

AP French would be probably be killer unless you are great at French. It’s a tough test. But, compared to Spanish, you’ll be up against far fewer native speakers, so that helps. Spot on about colleges- two AP language exams would look great, but only if you can pull off decent scores.

What you need to do is talk to seniors and school alumni. Any student can handle any exam with a proper amount of studying. The question is, will the course load become too much of a commitment. Some teachers just suck. Talk to seniors about Lang, Lit, Econ, and French. They’ll know how difficult the classes are and how tough it is to keep up.
