Senior Schedule

My plans?

Get out by lunch ^^

I posted on the other thread... whatever
Topics in Calculus
Vietnam (semester)
Middle East Studies Honors (semester)
AP English
AP Euro
AP French
Creative Writing 2 Honors
World Film (so excited for this)

Senior Year:
Participation in Government/Economics
POL 103: Politics and Government in the United States (Semester One)
Honors English
AP Calculus
AP Biology
CHE 110: General Chemistry (Semester One)
PHY 110: General Physics (Semester Two)

Independent French 4 (OK, so the coursework I already did over the summer--four weeks of intensive immersion classes in France :o )

AP calculus (my school doesn't designate the level--there's only one calc class, and this is it)

World religions (actually one of the toughest classes in school, I've heard)

Stagecrafts (stupid tech/vocational requirement... but I've heard this class is fun, and I know the teacher a bit and he seems cool, and I'm into drama)

AP statistics (it's the teacher's first year and I've heard she's more of a "I love the kids" kind of teacher, rather than a "gotta work these kids' fingers to the bone" kind of teacher)

Marine science (with my all-time favorite teacher... his place is a good one to send problem roosters. "So, Mr. Garcia, how'd that rooster work out for you?" "Oh, he was delicious. Thanks!" :D)

Drama III (definitely not a slacker class! The teacher is the world religions teacher, too--he doesn't take any crap from his students. Great guy. Love him.)

AP physics (awesome teacher--wouldn't be taking the class if it weren't for him. And physics is fascinating.)

AP French (the teacher has a marijuana leaf tattoo--hee hee! :p )

Independent world literature (maybe-- I haven't submitted the proposal yet, but according to teachers, the principal wouldn't dare turn me down if asked for yet another independent credit. I've never met her, but I must have a pretty good reputation [well-earned, I must say]. Anyway, it's nice to get credit for something I'm going to be doing anyway [points at self literature fiend, right here!], and it seemed like a bad idea to send off a list of senior courses to colleges without having an English class on it, even though I took both AP English courses last year and got 5s on the exams. Especially since I'm putting down literature and writing as two of my favorite EC/cocurricular activities!)

So that's my year. Also, I'm a Link Crew leader (we did frosh orientation today--four hours of... uh... fun), a National Honor Society tutor, a fencer, active in my school's creative writing club and drama club... I think I've got a pretty full plate. :)
