Senior Schedule

I’m applying to Brown early

What do you think would be the best for my seventh class. So far my schedule is:

AP English

2.AP Environmental Science

AP Psychology

Sociology

Peace Studies / Philosophy

Calculus

Choices:

a. AP Stat

b. Anatomy

c. regular stat

d. Aid for a teacher (basically free period)

Which of the 4 would make for a good senior year but still look best for college. Should I take the AP because it will look better or our the 3 I’m taking good enough. Any opinions would be much appreciated

I would say either the teacher’s aid thing or the ap stat. If the aid thing is official then I would do it to make my schedule look unique. For example, I had the chace to take 7 ap’s but instead i’m taking 6 in order to do an in-class internship. If it’s not official and will only come up as a study hall, then i’d do the ap (if your up to it; I hear that ap stat is easy anyway).

Absolutely AP Stat…not only is it a relevant class, but Brown does look for “most difficult course load”. Definitely do not take regular stats since an AP level exists. Aid for a teacher looks lazy since, as you said, it is basically a free period. Anatomy isn’t really necessary if you’ve take Biology.
