<p>Spring 2012</p>

<p>Students planning to graduate in spring 2012 may begin filing applications for degrees on January 4. The filing deadline for students completing degree requirements during the spring is February 17. </p>

<p>S2 did not mention anything during the 2011 winter Christmas break. We noticed the date on the academic calendar and alert him to file on time.<br>

<p>If parents have not plan for local hotels or airline ticket yet, better do it soon. CS/Bryan has limited accommodation, most are already block off. You may have to call hotel directly for booking.</p>

<p>The web page is updated and have new information for spring 2012 graduate.</p>

<p>I have a question for parents of previous graduate or alumni about the graduation cap and gown attire for undergraduate.</p>

<p>The “stole” for TAMU, does it have the year like 2012 engraved on it? Are student allow to wear them during the graduation commencement? The vendor Hertff-Jones College division email back said student are not allow to wear them during ceremony. However many wear under their gown. S1-UCLA last year has something similar call sash and it has UCLA logo and class of 2011 engraved on it.</p>

<p>Also, S2 was accepted into the EE master graduate program and he received his news 2/3/12 via postal and email. No funding yet and we are still waiting.</p>
