Hey parents. Are your kids playing senior tag?

what is senior tag???

The senior class divides into teams of 4 kids and they stalk each other with Nerf guns, trying to eliminate the opposing team. There are about 20 teams playing currently and at the end of the week, that number will be 10. So anyway, my DD-who loves to sleep till the last minute has been up at 0500 planning operatives of elimination against fellow seniors. There are lots of rules and school grounds serve as "base." Most local hs in our area do this. Some use squirt guns. It has revived my DD who was previously lame with senioritis.

That sounds great, wish my D's school did that. Her school has "Senior Pride" days. They dress up in different themes. They have had movie day, blast from the past and culture day. The 2nd week in May they will have college day where the seniors where t shirts from the college they will be attending. With 900+ seniors, it's a nice way to see where everyone is going.

That sounds like lots of fun! I don't believe my DD's school has anything like that planned, but she and several of her friends are talking about going to a Laser Quest lock-in the night before graduation. DH and I aren't sure that's the best idea considering she has to be at the arena for graduation at 9:00 a.m. the next morning. Then again, it's not like she'll be taking a test ... it's just graduation ... as long as you can walk the line and try to stay awake without falling out of her chair, I guess she'll be alright. :)
