Senior, taken 3x, Jan SAT?

I have taken it 3x, with scores that fluctuated every time, so I ended up having my best sections on 3 separate tests (1370/2110 superscore, 1320 single sitting best). I'm applying to competitive schools, so idk if it's worth taking again because it is literally my last chance and it's one part of my app that is weak. Any input is appreciated. Thanks.

Even if you do take it one more time it still will look bad that your scores aren’t consistent and the fact that you had to take it 4 times doesn’t look good either. Don’t waste your time with taking it again, in my opinion. But do whatever you feel is right. Your future, not mine.

I know the 4 times is bad. I basically have to do really well or it’ll backfire. I’m not sure if I have to send it prior to taking the test or if I have time after to decide which schools to send to.

I think it was the worst possible situation to have scores going up, down in every section. If only I had done it in a single sitting, then wouldn’t have any issues.

In the middle of senior year, it’s a last effort to improve sat. Any other suggestions?

Bump…im in your exact situation, but doing it for scholarship consideration…best of luck tho!!!

^Same, well both scholarship and apps. Scores fluctuated a bit, so I was hoping to get it all together on this last chance. Good luck to you too.
