<p>Junior year for me was a flop but I've redeemed myself this past semester. Anyone know which one is more important to the admissions office: senior or junior? Thanks!</p>
<p>I’m in the same boat! My junior year grades weren’t bad, but they weren’t stellar like this semester. I’ve read that they’re accorded roughly equal weight in the admissions process, with a slight tilt toward senior grades. Improvement is always good, especially this year, because doing even better than before despite additional external pressures (EC leadership, SATs, college apps) shows strength of character.</p>
